(Bạn đã đi làm hay còn là sinh viên?)

  • Với các bạn đã đi làm: I work as a full-time employee in P&G. I’ve been working in my current role for a few years now, and it has been a rewarding experience. My job allows me to apply the skills I’ve developed over time, and I enjoy the challenges it presents.

Work
  • What kind of work do you do?
  • What work do you do?
  • What do you do?
I’m currently working as a software developer for a tech company in Hanoi. My main responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain software applications. I’ve been in this field for about 5 years now, and I really enjoy the problem-solving aspect of my job.
  • What do you find most interesting about your work (Why?)
The most captivating aspect of teaching, for me, is witnessing those “aha!” moments in my students. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see their faces light up as they finally understand a difficult concept or master a new skill. Knowing that I played a part in their learning journey and helping them unlock their potential.
  • Do you like your job? Why or why not?
Absolutely, I love being a teacher! It’s incredibly rewarding to see my students learn and grow. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact on young minds. Witnessing those “aha!” moments when a concept clicks for a student is truly priceless.
  • What are your responsibilities at work?
As a teacher, I wear many hats. I’m responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, and assessing student progress. I also collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure all students’ needs are met. Beyond academics, I strive to foster a sense of community and belonging in my classroom, helping students develop social and emotional skills.
  • Do you work best in the morning or the afternoon? (Why?)
I find mornings to be my most productive time. I feel refreshed and focused after a good night’s sleep, which allows me to plan my lessons effectively and prepare engaging materials for my students. By the afternoon, my energy levels tend to dip, so I try to schedule tasks that require less mental focus, such as grading or administrative work.
Study

I’m currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at National Economics University in Hanoi. It’s a broad field that covers various aspects of running a company, from marketing and finance to human resources and operations.
  • What do you find most interesting about your studies? (Why?)
I’m particularly drawn to marketing. I find it fascinating how companies can influence consumer behavior and create successful brands. The creativity and strategic thinking involved in marketing really appeal to me.
  • How much time do you spend studying every week?
It varies depending on my course load and upcoming exams. On average, I dedicate about 20-25 hours per week to studying. This includes attending lectures, completing assignments, and reviewing course materials.
  • Do you study best in the morning or the afternoon? (Why?)
I like studying in the morning. I feel more focused and refreshed after sleeping. I study hard subjects in the morning, and easier ones in the afternoon.
  • Do yout tink your subject or major is popular in your country?
Yes, Business Administration is a popular choice in Vietnam. Many students are attracted to its versatility and the wide range of career opportunities it offers. It’s a practical field that equips graduates with the skills needed to succeed in the business world.

2. Hometown (Quê nhà)

Answer: My hometown is Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. It’s a bustling metropolis with a rich history and culture. I love the blend of old and new that you can find throughout the city, from ancient temples to modern skyscrapers.

Answer: I’d say the food scene is what I enjoy the most. Hanoi is a culinary paradise with countless street food vendors and restaurants offering delicious local specialties. I also appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and friendly people.

Answer: Definitely. Hanoi has experienced rapid development in the past decade. There are new buildings and infrastructure popping up everywhere. While this progress is exciting, I sometimes miss the quieter, more traditional feel that the city had when I was younger.

Answer: Hanoi has a wealth of attractions for visitors. The Old Quarter, with its narrow streets and charming shops, is a must-see. Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple are also popular spots. For those interested in history, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Temple of Literature are worth visiting.

Answer: People in Hanoi enjoy a variety of leisure activities. In the evenings, you’ll find many people strolling around Hoan Kiem Lake or gathering in cafes and bars. There are also numerous parks and cultural events throughout the year.

Answer: Absolutely! Hanoi is a vibrant and fascinating city with something to offer everyone. Whether you’re interested in history, culture, food, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Hanoi is a fantastic destination. And for those considering living here, the city provides a dynamic and welcoming environment.

3. Home & Accommodation

Answer: I currently live in a cozy two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Hanoi. It’s not very spacious, but it’s perfect for me as I live alone. I love the convenience of being close to shops, restaurants, and public transport.

Answer: My favorite part of my apartment is the balcony. It overlooks a small park, and I enjoy having my morning coffee there while watching the city wake up. It’s a peaceful way to start my day.

Answer: If I could change one thing, I’d love to have a bigger kitchen. The current one is a bit cramped, and I enjoy cooking. A larger kitchen would allow me to experiment with new recipes and entertain friends more comfortably.

Answer: I’ve always lived in apartments, so I’m quite used to them. I appreciate the security and low maintenance they offer. However, I wouldn’t mind living in a house someday, especially if it had a garden where I could grow my own vegetables and herbs.

Answer: When I was a student, I shared a dormitory room with three other roommates. It was a fun experience, but it also taught me the importance of personal space and compromise. I’m grateful for the privacy I have in my own apartment now.

Answer:a For me, location is a top priority. I want to be close to my workplace and have easy access to amenities. Safety is also crucial, as is a comfortable living space where I can relax and unwind after a long day.
